DVI connector pin-out
There are two types of DVI connectors: DVI-I (digital and analogue) and DVI-D (Digital only). DVI-I consists of a 24-pin digital section and a 5-pin analogue section as shown in Figure 16.10. The 24-pin digital-only DVI-D connector looks about the same as DVI-I without the ‘C’ pins. The pin-out assignment is listed in Table 16.1.
