National Electrical Code (NEC)®
All aspects of installation and design of electrical equipment and systems are included. This is the national guide to the safe installation of electrical wiring and equipment. It is designed primarily for use by trained electrical people and is necessarily terse in its wording.
The latest information on the code (usually revised and updated every three years) can be found on the Internet.
