Colds and Upper Respiratory Problems
Colds
Garlic works faster than vitamin C for curing colds. Keep a clove of garlic in your mouth and your cold will disappear within a few hours, or at most half a day, in many cases. It will not burn unless you chew it. Just score it with your teeth, every so often to release a little juice.
If garlic is too strong, try Rocambole or Sand leeks. A sore throat can be stopped in minutes and it even works for sore throat symptoms of diphtheria. Garlic has a curative effect on chronic diseases in the upper respiratory organs, absorbing the poisons. This is also true for “chronic inflammation of the tonsils, salivary glands and neighboring lymph glands, empyema of the maxillary sinus, severe pharyngitis and laryngitis” and other conditions. Garlic gives permanent, not just temporary relief. You can also consume:
- Bell Peppers
- Cauliflower
- Chicken
- Garlic
- Shellfish
- Tea
Stuffy Nose
Eat the following:
- Chilies
- Chicken soup (with fresh garlic and ground cayenne pepper; inhale the fumes while you eat the soup).
- Curry Powder
- Horseradish
Upper Respiratory Infection
