1. Chocolate Tower Truffle Cake from The Cheesecake Factory. Yikes. This comes in at a whopping 1,680 calories per serving. That’s almost as many calories that you should consume in an entire day! If you really want to get this, you should share with at least 3 other people. You won’t feel as guilty, and you will still be able to get a yummy treat.
2. Rocky Road ice cream from Haagen Daas. This comes in at 300 calories per serving. Doesn’t seem like a lot, right? But a serving is only ½ a cup. Many people can hardly stand to eat just ½ a cup. This means that many people are packing on the ice cream (and the calories) like there is no tomorrow!
3. Oh Fudge Shake! From Coldstone Creamery. This shake sounds so divine, so delightful. Until you take a look at the calories. At 1,600 calories per serving for the Gotta Have It size, you should share this shake with 5 of your closest friends. You might want to consider downgrading to the Like It size which has about half the calories.
4. White Mocha from Starbucks. While an espresso might sound the the perfect alternative to dessert, it hardly qualifies. This drink will set you back over 700 calories once you top it with whip cream. Try going for a smaller size or getting a low-fat option.
5. Vanilla Bean Cheesecake from TGIFriday’s. Cheesecake. A girl’s best friend, right? Wrong. This cheesecake comes in at almost 1,000 calories per serving. Yikes. For some reason when I think of something with vanilla, I think it has less calories. I couldn’t be more wrong!
These are just a few of the many desserts that you should avoid when you are trying to watch your weight.
